FXH Beadlock Wheels are designed for off-road and competition use only. Please read the following guide carefully before installation.

Important Safety Notice

Beadlocks are built for off-road and racing purposes and are not intended for regular highway use, they are more complicated than standard wheels to both fit and operate, so special precautions are recommended.

Important:

  • Follow all normal tyre installation instructions and best practices. It is important to check you are installing the correct tyre size on the wheel and do not attempt to seat beads without a safety cage using a lock-on chuck inflator that allows you to be at least 3ft away from the assembly.
  • Installation should be completed with a high-quality calibrated torque wrench, accurate to the indicated torque within +/-3%.
  • Some tyres may have beads that are too thin to be clamped or that very thick which require the use of a beadlock spacer kit to provide the ideal flange gap that does not overstress the beadlock ring or bolts.
  • Never exceed tyre manufacturer max seating pressure
  • Inspect hardware for any signs of damage, corrosion, stretching before installation and during any removal. Do NOT use thread locker.
  • Beadlock ring bolts need to be routinely checked for correct torque. This ensures they apply the required force to the beadlock ring to clamp the tyre bead for safe operation. It is recommended to check bolts after the first 5km’s of driving post installation and then every 400km’s after.
  • Loss of clamp bolt torque can result in a fast loss of tyre pressure and can result in injury, product or vehicle damage.

Beadlock Installation Instructions

Using the supplied FXH stainless steel 12-point hardware, begin by tightening all bolts gradually in small increments using a star pattern. This process ensures the tyre bead is drawn evenly into the wheel's bead seat and prevents distortion of the beadlock ring.

Once the tyre bead is fully seated, tighten all hardware to the specified torque value using the recommended star-pattern sequence. Repeat the complete star-pattern sequence a further two times to ensure consistent clamping force and even load distribution across the beadlock ring.

Note – If using hardware other than the supplied 12pt bolts, please do not assume torque specs are the same. Refer to the bolt manufacturer for relevant specifications.

Torque Summary:

  • Stainless Steel 12pt 5/16 30mm Bolts to 30 Nm or approximately 22 ft-lbs

WARNING: OVER TIGHTENING THE BOLTS OR FAILING TO USE A BEAD RING SPACER WHEN REQUIRED CAN CAUSE BOLT FAILURE WHICH CAN RESULT IN VEHICLE DAMAGE AND SERIOUS INJURY.

To ensure the rings are torqued properly, it's recommended that you use the following pattern when tightening the bolts:
